Kudos

Dear Mrs. Marsh,

My colleague and I had the pleasure of dining at Red Ginger last Monday evening. From the moment we arrived thru the dinner service, we felt things were well executed and were made to feel as though our patronage was appreciated.

I worked on the “kitchen side” of food service from 14 years of age thru college and a few years beyond and held a variety of positions finally finishing as kitchen manager. As it happens, “Pacific Rim” cooking is the style I most frequently prepare at home and is my predominant choice when I dine out.

Your attention to detail, e.g. cutlery, service ware, server training, wash room cleanliness, etc. was evident throughout; frankly, I was reminded of similarly-themed restaurants I’ve encountered in London. The menu had many appealing choices but I’m thinking the addition of one or two ‘Straits’ offerings would not be remiss.

My friend and I had hoped to return the following evening but our brief vacation was interrupted by work concerns.

Thanks again to you and your staff for an especially pleasant experience.

Best regards,

John Sullivan

Thai Curry anyone?

Hello,
I was fortunate to dine late at your restaurant while on a recent trip To Traverse City. It was a fabulous meal all around, but most delightful was the Thai Curry dish!
Although I have tried, I have not been able to locate a local restaurant who provides a Thai curry dish as wonderful as yours. So now, I have had constant craving for the dish. I haven't craved anything with this intensity since pregnancy 15 years ago! (..and no, I am NOT expecting) :-)
Any chance of sharing the recipe?, shipping in dry ice?, opening a location in Fort Wayne?
Can you help a girl out?
Sincerely,
"Constant Craver"

(2008 Red Ginger Bed Race Photos)

The 2008 National Cherry
Festival was, once again,
a huge success for Traverse City.
Locals and tourists alike flocked
to the downtown entertainment
district for fun and festivities.
With TNCF bitter sweetly put
behind us, we have a lot more
summer fun to look forward to.

Not only does Traverse City have The Traverse City Film Festival to look forward to, but we also have The Horse Shows By The Bay as well. Both of these events, like The National Cherry Festival bring thousands of people from around the country to our area, giving them a taste of what Northern Michigan is all about.

What's Happening Tonight?
Once again, we are half way through the work week. Come join us on our deck as we unwind, relax and rejuvenate. Red Ginger's speciality cocktails have never tasted to refreshing. Hoping to see you later...

How About This Weather?
9&10 News said this July 4th weekend

Thank you all, once again, for making

local business is all about.
